The Ferno AS140 Leg Vacuum Splint (#0374864) is designed to assist with dislocated joints or suspected fractures in the legs and joints. It provides total immobilization while ensuring circulation, without adding to the current injury. Inside the splint are tiny polystyrene beads that move and mold around the limb in a cast, once the air has been vacuumed. The splint is constructed from easy-to-clean vinyl-coated nylon, and is secured via hook-and-loop adjustable straps.
