AUVI-Q® (epinephrine injection, USP) is a prescription medicine used to treat life-threatening allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis, in people who are at risk for or have a history of serious allergic reactions.
AUVI-Q (epinephrine injection, USP), 0.15 mg is an auto-injector and a combination product containing drug and device components. AUVI-Q 0.15 mg, is designed for children weighing 33 lbs to 66 lbs. Each AUVI-Q® 0.15 mg delivers a single dose of 0.15 mg epinephrine in a sterile solution. AUVI-Q features an electronic voice instruction system. A 2-second countdown begins after AUVI-Q is activated. The needle automatically retracts after the injection is complete. The needle is not visible before, during, or after an injection After administration of AUVI-Q, advise to seek immediate medical/hospital care.
